  • We work to minimize the negative impacts of transmission lines on (i) our clients’ property, (ii) rural economies, and (iii) the environment by representing our clients’ interests through the entire route selection process and encouraging selection of alternative routes with the fewest negative impacts.
  • When necessary, we work with transmission line companies and the Public Utilities Commission to utilize construction and structure placement methods that minimize the impacts on our clients’ properties.

  • Decker & Arrott P.C. is experienced in commercial litigation, including alternative ways of resolving disputes.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) is the process of resolving legal disputes without taking a case to trial and can be the very best way to handle the resolution of a legal dispute.
  • One of our attorneys, Nick Arrott, is qualified and certified as a mediator in Texas.  Thus, Nick can act as an impartial mediator, as well as provide clients with advice regarding all aspects of ADR.
  • We have the capability of hosting mediations in our Stamford office, where we have two conference areas and an extra private room to accommodate the various parties that might be involved in a given mediation.
  • If our clients are involved in ADR and a resolution is reached during the ADR process, then we will ensure that our clients’ legal issues are completely resolved in a manner that is in their best interests.  However, if a resolution is not reached during the ADR process, then we will vigorously represent our clients in moving forward with litigation.
